Dark mode

David from Forking Mad is annoyed at websites with dark mode. And fair enough - there are some sites I would never want to see dark. Wikipedia, for one, I just can't imagine ever using it on dark mode. But Youtube, Reddit, probably some others, they just look better when dark.

This is something interesting, though, because my blogs vary by darkness. -b, as you can see, is very much in night-mode almost all the time, with its navy coat. I could probably adjust the colours, but I don't care nearly enough to do that. All Over 2a, meanwhile, is an odd blend of olive green and ham pink. I do wonder if that one looks appealing - but compared to -b, it's literally night and day.

Now, about the -b thing, I've just realised it might look dark to me as I've enabled dark theme on my browser. God, -b looks awful when bright. Bloody painful, it's like Plato's cave.

I mean...idk. I feel like at the end of the day, we live in binaries, and one of them is bright/dark mode. What if we all settled on blogs with homepages that sit somewhere nearer to the middle of the rainbow - say, green or blue? I'm not sure if they would look nice, but it could help solve the problem entirely.

3/31, slowly but surely...
